Singles Rejoyce: Find Great Expectations to Live by

Filed under: Uncategorized @ 9:33 am

Now, Nobody can say I’m terribly satisfied being bored with most men (who isn’t?) and be 100% truthful. However, I’m not uncomfortable about it, either. I merely suggest it in this blog as an ear-catching personal tidbit foreshadowing what I will shortly discuss honestly.

A week ago today I met for coffee with Sandy, thinking of joining Dallas Personals site. As of this minute, I write to each of you as a surprisingly pleased member of the singles network. For real, it’s true. It’s full of fun, attractive people! If you have read my old blog, you may be wondering, “You totally owe me an explanation.”

Here’s how it went down, I looked at this Great Expectations Dating site and can really get behind their approach. They’re for the honest singles who think dating doesn’t have to be so frivolous and stupid.

Because I’d never enjoyed or even tolerated this silly social phenomenon a lot of singles call “The Dating Experience.” I got it more than anyone should. Day and night people ask, “Are you seeing somebody?” and “Please tell me you two are dating.”

“Nonsense,” I say to them, smiling ear to ear. “There’s nothing to date!”

“Don’t be silly,” they say. “How would you know, you haven’t seen Friday Night Magic in a year!”

Thankfully, that’s my sister (she’s the best) (hehe) Stacey McCarthy. She beams rational thought to my mind to set me straight. Loved ones I depend on for fresh advice. She made a good point, and I joined.

Coming home to the meaning of this post. As I selected from thousands of combinations of outfits for my first singles event with Great Expectations, something occurred to me that was quite true. For the longest time, I hadn’t had any figurative great expectations for dating and myself in the adventurous journey of being alive. It’s good to be single, even more so if you use the freedom to date. Having great expectations makes a difference in dating.
