Useful Information on Online Video Distribution – Part One

Filed under: Uncategorized @ 10:47 pm

The wise old Chinese statement has a great significance; the motto depicted the reality that we accept an event drastically more when it is watched. Utilising video production or videography it is realistic to film a series of events.

Now in loads of different corporate presentations, video footage is widely adopted. By implementing video production it is achievable to offer the essential communication to different potential consumers to help lure them. Online Video production at present is employed for numerous different jobs; however, numerous promotional videos & brand associated presentations are usually developed in order to accomplish desired company goals.

Audio video presentations are very much in style and are therefore used in roughly any brand of corporate activity. Creative agencies at the outset initially work with a particular client or a business that are wanting to develop a short format online video commercial, a presentation or a series of video clips. The whole job of video production is typically carried out by one or two freelancers; yet there are a few good online specialist video production companies around at the moment. Themed Destination Weddings: Star Trek, the Experience

Filed under: Uncategorized @ 4:24 pm

Everyone has a dream wedding. Each couple wants to have their perfect wedding. Some just have more unusual preferences.

It’s considered perfectly acceptable to have Elvis officiate at weddings – well, his impersonator anyway. Think of this as a very unique theme wedding. You might be surprised to find that your family and friends may be very willing to take part.

Here is a favorite of fans of the TV series, Star Trek. If you go to Las Vegas, it truly will be an experience to hold your nuptials at Star Trek: The Experience at the Hilton. You can actually be married by a starfleet officer and have the reception at Quarks bar. You can even choose to have Borg, Klingon or Ferengi present at your wedding.

If you want to be fully in the swing of things, you can wear the dress uniform instead of a tux. The wedding is performed on the bridge of the Enterprise 1701-D. You’ll even get to sit in the captain’s chair for your photographs.

Weddings are meant to be celebrated and Quark’s has just the thing. Depending on your arrangements your menu may include the Holy Rings of Betazed (Onion Rings), Romulan Warbird (Marinated Chicken Breast) or even the delicious Captain’s Cut (NY steak). Have some Chateau du Trek (the house wine) to toast your wedding with. Delicious!

After the feasting, enjoy the rest of the Experience as you walk through the History of the Future Museum. The Klingon Encounter and Borg Invasion will add thrill to your wedding party. What better way to end your special event with souvenirs from the Deep Space Nine retail shop.

It may be out of this world but this is one wedding that you, and your guests, will truly remember.

As the Vulcans say: “Live long, and prosper”.

Gay Marriage and the Forceful Fringe

Filed under: Uncategorized @ 4:26 pm

Recently we have heard members of the Gay and Lesbian community speak out about getting married and their rights? Civil rights and now they say their human rights have been violated. And they are pissed. But I do have a question for all of them;

How are your human rights violated?

In an online think tank recently a Gay woman claimed her human rights were violated because she could not marry her lesbian lover? I do not understand this comment. So I stated to her;

“You can still dike with your friend if you want. You just can’t get married that’s all. No one is stopping you from your animal urges or rights? Go have at it. You want to be together, good for you, but just call it something else.”

Besides in 50-years this whole thing will all seem ridiculous and we will all wonder why anyone ever cared about same sex marriages anyway. Dear Homosexual Community; Don’t let the sound and fury bother you. Times change, but if the gay and lesbian community push too fast too hard too soon, then there will be this backlash in the here and now. Actually fighting it only hurts your movement. Let the idea soak in with the population and give it some time.

Why divide over this little issue? [CYA; I am straight and love women]. So my Lesbian friend and fellow citizen we have something in common, I do not blame you for liking women better. I like them much better too. Consider all this in 2006.

Wedding favors – Practical Favors Favoured By All

Filed under: Uncategorized @ 6:57 pm

The bride and groom are now man and wife at the time when the giving of wedding gift favors is appropriate. Now that the perfect wedding ceremony has come to an end tokens of gratitude are presented to family and friends to say thank you for being part of our special day.

There are fabulous items in abundance to give as your wedding favors, but deciding what they are to be is the problem.

The size of your guest list and budget allowance will most definitely have an effect on what you give as your thank you token. Money will dominate and may well limit your choice of the wedding gift favors.
Problems like this are easily solved, don`t invite any one or elope (Just a suggestion) But if you intend on sticking around for the big day then bulk buy to cut costs.

Going back in time when gift favors came into existence it was believed that the married couple were showered with luck if gift giving took place. By giving a thank you donation to all attendees then it was considered that the bride and groom intentions were to share their luck

Wedding favors and their beginning became traditional among upper classed people hundreds of years ago. In Italy and France bonbonnieres were given to each guest as wedding favors. These dainty delicacies were placed into fancy boxes which could be made of porcelain or crystal embedded with precious sparkling stones.

Later down the line others followed suit with this practice of giving wedding favors. To sweeten up the occasion almonds became popular at weddings. Almonds were supposed to denote happiness, wealth, health and fertility. Even though these almond favors were given in the history years they are very common at modern weddings today all sugared up and candy coated.

We now live in a different era where the giving of wedding favors still stands if not with more preferences than the days gone by. It is a very important part of a wedding.

Practical thinking on wedding favors makes practical gifts. Useful items that can be used in the kitchen or bathroom are great ideas brought into force in many modern weddings
Not all wedding favors were of this nature, things like personalised candles and smellies were warmly welcomed by guests

At the end of the day this is your wedding and your word is final on what to give
As long as those final words (I Do) took at the altar came from the heart then that alone will stay with your guests as a keepsake in memory for years to come.

A Call for International Marriage Laws

Filed under: Uncategorized @ 6:23 pm

I recently watched a CNN programme which centred on “kidnapped daughters” (from multicultural marriages) who were unwillingly given away in marriages in Islamic states by their fathers. Usually, the fathers were from these Islamic states. While pondering over why some states still refuse women their rights to choose whom to marry, the key question I am also trying to answer is “Which international law governs inter-country and inter-religious marriages?”

The real issue is whose belief overrides in an inter-country and inter-religious marriage. Should the father dictate the beliefs of his daughter till she is 18 or should the mother? Whilst love still stands as the basic foundation for a successful marriage, marrying a foreigner with a different religion/beliefs needs a more concrete foundation – such as a signed agreement.

Some women marry male foreigners without fully understanding his background, his beliefs …and most importantly, the beliefs of his people. Some may argue that when they married their husbands, he was a free thinker. This is true especially of westernized men. However, this most likely changes when the man has to return to his roots – his people and their beliefs….and they often return home.

So, which law protects children from inter-country and inter-religious marriages? Which written law states that the man cannot take his daughters back to his roots and marry them off to whoever he wishes? Which law states that a father cannot forbid his daughters to go home and visit their mother? Which international law states that a woman forced to have sex with a husband she was unwillingly married to is pure rape? Which international law states that a woman who has her passport seized by her father is denied her rights?

As the world becomes truly global, perhaps it is time the United Nations begun to look at International Marriage laws which protect the children from inter-country marriages. However, can these children truly be protected despite the political obstacles that prevail?

The obvious answer remains that the end to “kidnapping” is the establishment of international marriage laws which countries can be held accountable for. Whilst couples await these laws, it may be expedient to sign agreements in a court of law to protect unborn children. The question, then, is “whose court of law?”

Jews and Darfur: An Open Letter to the Jewish Community

Filed under: Uncategorized @ 3:44 pm

Dear Friends:

Let me begin by apologizing in advance for what follows. It is not my intention to lecture anyone about anything. I am no tzaddik, to be sure, and I have no right to preach about righteousness to anyone, let alone members of a community who, in many cases, have a moral compass much truer than mine and whose commitment to Torah puts mine to shame. Having said that, I am unable to keep silent about the subject that follows, so here goes:

Over the past few weeks, much discourse (both public and private) has taken place within the Jewish community (among many other communities, I am sure) on the subject of Darfur. Much of what has been said and written has been quite eloquent concerning the unspeakable horrors facing the victims there, and many have exhorted the members of our community to participate in an April 30 rally in Washington, to urge prompt action upon the Bush Administration. To my great surprise, and, I am sorry to say, embarrassment, I have heard words from people to the effect of: “what do I care about these people?” or “they’re mostly Muslim and hate Jews…why should we help them?”

In the world in which I grew up (and, I daresay, this applies to many, if not all of us), it was a virtual article of faith to say that: “while the Jews burned, the world kept silent.” I, like most of my peers, accepted that statement as (you should excuse the expression) Gospel. In my opinion, if we do not stand up for Darfur, we lose the right to continue complaining about world apathy, past and present, for Jewish woes. In short, we forfeit the moral ‘high ground’ and, I believe, no longer can lecture an uncaring world.

This is such a basic article of the Jewish creed, that I am astonished that it needs to be pointed out by anyone, least of all, an am ha’aretz like myself. One of the three principles enunciated and ALWAYS quoted and attributed to Hillel is: “If I am only for myself, what am I?”

Now I know that it is only natural that people worry first about their family, next about their friends and community and only afterward about strangers and the world at large. But somewhere in the mix, we need to consider not only WHO the victims are, but the severity and scale of the suffering. And while I would certainly be the last person to suggest that helping finance a yeshiva is unimportant (I beg that you not interpret my words to, G-d forbid, say such a thing), the people of Darfur are, in my opinion, the victims of a holocaust.

Yes, I know it makes Jews very angry to see that loaded term used in ANY context other than THE HOLOCAUST—hence, I use a lower-case ‘h’. But in reality, we might ask ourselves, “Why is this NOT a holocaust?” It is, after all, precipitated by nothing other than racial/ethnic hatred, involves the wholesale murder of, potentially, millions of people, and in a brutal, gruesome manner that would do the Nazis proud.

Thus, I am hard-pressed to understand why people who are always responsive to charitable requests, and who usually, if not always, turn out for Jewish or Israeli causes, find Darfur unworthy of their efforts. I don’t know a single one of the victims or potential victims of these atrocities. I probably never will. I don’t have any personal emotional investment in their well-being, or even that of their innocent children. But I know, as surely as one can know anything, that our standing up for them is a kiddush hashem, and an obligation that we all share.

Those who do not think this horror deserving of their attention must, I think, consider carefully any future complaints against a world indifferent to Jewish suffering. And if our community, which (rightly) supports Jewish soup kitchens, UJA, Israel Bonds, and literally dozens of other wonderful and important causes and acts of chesed, does not turn out in DROVES for this event on April 30, then SHAME ON US!

Once again, please accept these words as an expression of strong personal feeling and not of criticism of anybody or of our community. The skilled and articulate leaders in our midst who are advocating participation in this event hardly need my help in promoting it. In reality, in any event, the justice of the cause should speak for itself. Please consider the foregoing in that light.

Sincerely,

Warren R. Graham
